Product Description
MACCOR, a professional manufacturer of battery testing, and AMETEK, a manufacturer of electrochemical impedance testers, have joined forces to launch a new battery testing system.
The MACCOR4300M desktop battery automatic test system has all the functions of the original 4300 standard type, and a new 8-bit sample multiplexer has been added. The 8-bit sample multiplexer enables each sample test channel to be connected to the Princeton Par4000 or the strong 1260 and 1287 impedance tester to realize the AC impedance test of each sample.
Working principle:
The impedance tester is connected to the battery test system through a multiplexer. Users can write the impedance test into the sequence test of the original Maccor battery DC test through Maccor's test software. During the test, the battery test system automatically disconnects the Maccor direct test channel from the sample, switches to the AC impedance tester, and conducts AC impedance test. After the impedance test is completed, the test system automatically disconnects the sample from the impedance tester, automatically connects to the DC test channel of Maccor and continues with the edited DC test step. The integration of AMETEK's other impedance test systems is also planned.

Eight sample test positions are provided, and the test system software can be integrated with multiple desktops. 4300M can be configured as a multi-current range channel with a current control range of 300Na-5A. The voltage range of these multi-current range channels can be standard configuration -2V-+8V or 0V-+5V, and the voltage and current accuracy are +/-0.02% of the full range respectively. Alternatively, the channel of the system can be configured as a single current range, these single current range channels can be configured with higher voltage and current, with current accuracy of +/-0.025 of full range and voltage accuracy of +/-0.02 of full range.
